Angela Davis, age 66, of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025.
She was born on October 27, 1958, to the late James and Shirley Edwards, and was
a proud graduate of North High School.
Angela was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived
by her loving husband, Norman Davis; her children, Anthony Davis, Dannielle
(Marcus) Chapman, and Shakeez Davis. She was also a loving foster mother to the
late Asia Watson.
Angela’s greatest joy came from her family. She adored her grandchildren and
cherished every moment spent with her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close
friends. She will be remembered for her incredible cooking, her love for baking, her
playful spirit at the card table, and most of all, her unwavering faith in the Lord.
She is also survived by her siblings: Linda (David) Campbell, Tommy Cammon, Starr
Beamon, and Antoinette Edwards. She was preceded in death by her siblings June
Foster and Duane Edwards.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00
a.m. at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home.
