Miss Angela Yolanda (“Angie B”) Brown was born to Cleophus Drake and Pearlie Mae Brown on March 26, 1964 in Akron, Ohio. She was also raised in Akron, Ohio, where she attended Akron Public Schools (Erie Island Elementary, Perkins Middle School and “class of 1982” Buchtel High School).
Angie quietly departed this life on April 22, 2022, in the company of loved ones. Her wonderful life will be cherished forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
Angie will truly be missed. She was a fun loving person who was the life of the party. She loved dancing, music, and cooking for family and friends. One of Angie’s favorite past-time activities was decorating her house for holidays and taking pictures.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Cleophus Drake and her mother, Pearlie Mae Brown; brothers and sisters, Edward Brown, Shirley Brown Johnston, Dock (Shirley) Brown, Anthony Brown, Rosalyn Clevette McKissack-Lewis (Marvin Lewis), Robbin McKissack, Crystal Hunter, Brian Hamilton and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews & nieces, great-great nephews and nieces.
