Angelia M. Eberhardt, affectionately known as “Angie”, was born on September 16, 1951, to John D. Eberhardt Sr. and Mary Jean Foye-Eberhardt in Akron, OH. Angie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church, she loved the Lord dearly.
Angelia had a beautiful smile and a sincere love for people and for animals. She loved her family and friends deeply and always parted ways with her sweet familiar saying of “Love you, love you.”
Angie graduated from South High School and then went on to attend The University of Akron and Ohio State University. She retired in 2017 from Akron City Hospital after dedicating 43 years of service as a phlebotomist providing skills and expertise that undoubtedly helped saved many lives. Patients sought her out and they always spoke of her kindness and pleasant nature. Angelia will be greatly missed by all who loved her and by those who had the honor of knowing her.
Angelia is preceded in death by her parents, John D. Eberhardt Sr. and Mary Jean Foye-Eberhardt; and sisters, Antionette and Alanderett Eberhardt.
Left to cherish her memory forever are her daughter whom she loved dearly, Ashley Jean Nicole Bagley (Pastor Rich Thornton); brothers, John D. Eberhardt Jr. and Fraizelle (Gloria) Eberhardt; sister, MaEtta Welch; special niece, Candice Eberhardt; nieces, Jo’Shauna Eberhardt and Jessica Payne; nephews, Frederico Russel, William F. Eberhardt and Antonio Eberhardt; as well as a host of family and friends.
