Angella Joan (Lancaster) Holness was born on July 8, 1956 in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago to Jason and Victoria Lancaster. She was the 7th of 10 children. She passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 69.
She migrated to the United States when she was16 years old where she attended East High School. She later attended Tri-C, where she earned an associate degree in nursing. She worked at Metro Health Medical Center for 10 years and later left in 1994 for a career at Cleveland Clinic. She later retired after suffering a stroke.
She was one of the best cooks in the family and was an excellent housewife who strongly believed in taking care of the household. Laundry was always done, and her home was well kept. Her priority was always to make sure her family’s meals were well prepared with boundless love, and a lunch bag was always packed for her husband. She loved life and was not afraid to express herself. She was a gem of a person, who appreciated all that life gave her. She was very ambitious and hardworking and loved the finer things in life. But most of all, she had a deep love for God and her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Patrick of 31 years, her daughter Natalie, son Jason, granddaughter De’shawn, grandson Nikolai, great granddaughter Nola, and her siblings Jackie, Barbara, Hilton, Jeanette, Junior (Roland), Wendy, and Diane. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Winston and Addison (Enoch).
Angella was deeply loved and will be greatly remembered by family and friends who will miss her dearly.
