Anne C. Adams was born to the late James and Hattie Adams on July 13, 1936, in Williamson West Virgina. She relocated to Cleveland, shortly thereafter high school where she married.

She dedicated 38 years to St. Vincent Charity Hospital. She loved to travel each year internationally or within the US. Her most favorite time was spent with family on the holidays and watching sports. She had a very special love for all her grandchildren as it warmed her heart with each visit.

She leaves to cherish her memory four living children David Welch, Stevie Stevens Sr (Kim), Yolanda Robinson (Dennis) and Kimberly Stevens. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends which always made her heart smile.

Children preceding her death were Stephanie Stevens, and Terry Stevens whom she loved dearly.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Annie, our fondest memories. Always upbeat, loved her positive spirit, liked meeting everyone daily as they came through the Cafe line. Our Mother had open heart surgery and all 8 of us children ate, Annie didn't charge us. To this very day I still don't know if she paid that bill out of her pocket. Our Mother was the longest working nurse at Charity, sister worked in surgery PACU, brother worked in Radiology so they had contact daily. We are praying for her soul and our own Mother died Dec 17 2023. May your Mother's soul be at peace and remember her spirit with you always.

Anne or Wimpy as I knew her was a friend of my (blind) mother, Carletha, both of whom were from Williamson. As a child, I played with Wimpy's children. Wimpy was always kind to me; even into my adulthood. I'd always go see her (to hear her soft voice and behold her familiar face), when I visited from California. Rest well dear one.
