Ann C. Smiley made her heavenly transition on Saturday September 30^th 2023. She was born in Selma, Alabama on April 13^th, 1946. She met and married her husband of 56 years before relocating to Cleveland, Ohio.

She worked at nursing homes before starting her position at Hillcrest Hospital on August 1^st 1979, until she retired on May 5th 2005. There she met longtime friends, Rose Dunning (deceased), Geneva Spencer (deceased), and Alice Smith.

She returned home to Selma, Alabama to finish her retirement in her hometown until she was ill in December of 2019 when she returned to Ohio, where her daughters took care of her.

Preceding her in death was her mother Onie Gooden, father Andrew Gooden, husband Leeardie Smiley Sr; sons Leeardie Jr and Tyrone; brothers William, Andrew Jr, Robert, Joseph, and Johnny; sisters Louise Pearlie Mae, Jessie Mae and Dorothy.

Ann leaves to cherish her daughter’s Diane and Teresa (Charles) Kamera; grandsons Michael, DeAndre, Javon and Jaleel (Kristal); Granddaughters Akyia and Natalie; Great grandkids Messiah, Michael Jr, Kawaii, Orion, Ezekiel, Alani and baby Kai; nieces Barbie Jean and Angel; nephews Charles and Calvin and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Ann will be truly missed by all whom she took the time to grace with her presence. Thank You.
