Ann Carnell Brown was born in Akron, Ohio on September 3, 1952. She was born to the late, John Henry Wolfe and Hattie Lois Wolfe, and grew up with her three brothers. Ann fell in love at an early age and married Stanley Brown. She was a devoted wife, and mother of two beautiful daughters, Nayrithia and Kimyada. Ann was a loving mother who exuded strength, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility to her family.
Ann graduated from Buchtel High School class of 1970 and began her career as a manager at the local Burger King. She was known as the manager with the infamous middle finger. Ann furthered her career as a dedicated employee at Ohio Edison where she held various positions and retired after serving 30 years in the organization. Ann was always living life to the fullest, while enjoying activities such as line and hand dancing. She also loved spending time with family, friends, and going to the movies and casinos. Her joy of fine dining would have her checking out many new local restaurants to eat her favorite meal- Prime Rib.
Ann loved the Lord as her relationship with God grew while attending New Hope Baptist Church. It was on December 8, 2021, that God wrapped his loving arms around Ann and peacefully called her home while she was surrounded by her family.
Ann was preceded in death by parents, Henry, and Hattie Wolfe.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters Nayrithia (Daniel) Burns and Kimyada (Vance) Benton; brothers, John H. Wolfe, Marvin R. LeNeo and Norman B. Wolfe; grandchildren, Raynard Burns and Taj Benton; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.
