Ann Carol Robinson was born on January 5, 1939, in Suttle Perry County, Alabama. She transitioned from this life on May 6, 2026. She was the youngest of four daughters born to the late Zelia Jones.
Ann attended Clark Elementary School in Suttle Perry County, Alabama. After completing her education, she relocated to Columbus, Ohio, where she lived for several years before later moving to Cleveland, Ohio. While in Cleveland, she primarily worked in the hospitality industry and was known for her strong work ethic and warm spirit. She was employed at Pat Joyce Restaurant in downtown Cleveland until its closing.
Later in life, Ann met and married Victor Robinson, and together they shared over 63 wonderful years of marriage. During their years together, they enjoyed traveling, bowling, and creating lasting memories with family and friends. Ann was especially proud of being a championship bowler, a passion that brought her much joy throughout the years.
Ann was also a faithful member of Lee Heights Community Church for several years, where she served in multiple auxiliaries and remained devoted to her church family and community. She was known for her kind heart, uplifting spirit, and encouraging words that touched everyone she encountered. Her presence brought comfort, wisdom, and love to so many.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Zelia Jones, and her two sisters, Alberta Showers and Maddie P. Allen.
Ann leaves to cherish her loving memory: her devoted husband, Victor Robinson; one sister, Dorothy Lindsay; her favorite niece, Aretha Chambers; two lifelong friends, Brenda Oliver and Karen Humphrey; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
