Annette Broyles Ross was born July 29th ,1941. The first of two daughters to Andrew and Florine Broyles in Conway, Arkansas. The Broyles family moved to Cleveland in 1951 when she was the sweet age of 10 years old. After moving to Cleveland, Annette attended John Burroughs Elementary School, Kennard Jr. High School and Graduated from East Technical High School in 1960. After Graduating, Annette went on to Business College for data processing where she joined Greyhound and became a data processing specialist. While working at Greyhound she then met the love of her life Felton Eugene Ross Sr. and they married soon after on Christmas Eve 1964. To this union was born the apple of their eye, Felton Eugene Ross Jr. who they loved immensely and unexpectedly preceded them in death. After Greyhound closed that division Annette joined the Cleveland Illuminating Company, where she then retired from several years later.

Annette and Felton Sr. A.K A. (Sonny Ross) loved to travel with their son Felton Jr. While on a trip to Mexico Felton Jr. was affectionately named Poncho. The Ross family enjoyed traveling to different parts of the world, such as London, Spain, Paris, Jamaica and Canada. When they weren’t traveling Annette loved to spend time in her garden nurturing beautiful flowers, she also enjoyed cooking, the casino, partying and dancing, and frequenting many restaurants all over Cleveland.

In September of 2020 she lost the love of her life to Covid. Even after suffering those great losses Annette continued on her journey up until July 16th, 2025 when the Lord decided to reunite her with her family in heaven.
