Annie Elizabeth Reynolds was born on September 3, 1927, in Akron, Ohio, to the late James Alexander and Elishie Giddings. She had been a resident of Akron, OH for 96 years where she met and married Timothy Reynolds, and to this union raised four daughters; Cynthia Fairley, Laconia Reynolds-White, Wanda Reynolds, and Tina Reynolds-Smith. In her past time, she loved to plant and grow flowers, sew, knit, do ceramics, word puzzles, and bake. She was a faithful member of Wesley Temple A.M.E. Zion Church.
She was preceded in death by parents James Alexander and Elishie Giddings, husband Timothy Reynolds, daughter Wanda Reynolds, brothers Ernest, Edward, Samuel, and Bobby Giddings, sister Betty Ramsey, step-sister Eleanor Giddings, sister-in-laws Marilyn & Odessa Giddings, and special cousin Dorothy Moseley.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters Cynthia Fairley, Laconia Reynolds-White (Bruce), and Tina Reynolds-Smith (Olin), brother Moses Giddings, grandsons John Fairley and Brandon T. Reynolds, sister- in-laws Hazel and Lucille Giddings, Brandon T. Reynolds, and special cousin Louise Broadnax and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special daughters Joyce Manley and Linda Ivery.
Special thanks to her son-in-laws Bruce White and Olin Smith Jr. for all their help and support, Officer Tommy Elton III who frequently checked on our mother, and Roberta Nelson who helped us prepare her for her homegoing.
