Annie Ruth Pinkston

Annie Ruth Johnson, also known as “Ann” by family and friends, was born January 10,1943 in Hatchechubbee Russell County, Alabama to parents Pierce and Anabelle Johnson. Annie was raised in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Glenville High School in 1962. She had five siblings; Annie Mae Huff of Elyria, Ohio ; Bessie Mae Kimbro Elyria, Ohio, Jonas Lee Johnson, John Lee Johnson(Deceased) and Peggy Johnson. Annie attended and joined Triedstone Baptist Church where she met and married John Walter McDaniel.  They had two daughters; Ella Noel and Deborah McDanie as well a son, Patrick Allen McDaniel(Deceased) born May 16,1973. Their marriage ended after a time and Annie later met and married Ralph H Pinkston Jr.(Deceased) this marriage eventually ended.

Annie worked as a Nurse’s Aide for many years at Judson Park Retirement Home. Later Annie worked for Ms. Barbara Millen as a Private Duty Nurse, then later worked for and eventually retired from ABM at Bank One in the House keeping Department.

Annie, later moved to California to be closer to her daughters, where she enjoyed watching her Western tv shows.

Annie, slipped from Time and into Eternity on Friday December 13, 2024 around 10:45 p.m while sleeping…. she went very peacefully and is now resting in the Peaceful Presence of Jesus for All Eternity….

Annie, is survived by her two daughters Ella Noel and Deborah McDaniel, her grandchildren Alicia McDaniel, and Solomon Noel.

She was preceded in death by her brother John Lee Johnson, son Patrick Allen McDaniel and grandson Dorian McDaniel.

Annie was Loved and will be Missed for Years To Come!!!

Lord, I find strength and solace in the memories we shared together with Annie during her time here on Earth…. now we celebrate her life!!!

Thank You Lord, for the moments of peace and comfort that only you can provide during this Time……
