Annie Walker born February 16, 1953. She was raised in Southeast Akron, graduating from Garfield High School in 1972. Annie was a medical records clerk at Middlebury Manor for over 10 years, staying until she retired. She was a true pillar in the Akron community.
Annie’s favorite hobbies included playing the lottery and playing card games with family and friends. She absolutely loved being at family functions. Annie played baseball for the Diamond Dolls – she was a good pitcher!
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Shaw; father, Clyde Walker; stepfather, Jacob Shaw; brother, Grandville Walker; grandson, Carlos Cintron; aunt, Daisy Hamilton; and cousin, Bobby Martin; all of Akron, OH.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Huff of Las Vegas, NV; son, James Walker of Akron, OH; sister, Daisy Walker of Akron, OH; grandchildren, Shawnisha Cintron, Ja’Miyka Cintron, Ja’Quan Walker, Ricky Cintron, Jasmine Walker, James Walker, Dezmonet Walker, Migdalia Cintron – all of Akron, OH, Semaj Walker of Atlanta, GA, Mi’Shair Conner and Shemia Conner – both of Las Vegas, NV; great grandchildren, Ja’Ana Cintron, Jaylen Cintron and Isaiah Cintron – all of Akron, OH; niece, Kristina Walker of Akron, OH; great nephews, Ja’Shauwn Walker and Zohntia Walker – both of Akron, OH; as well as a host of family and friends.
