Our brother, Anthony Duane Young, age 63, was born on June 12, 1956 in Akron, Ohio.  Our brother departed this life on August 5, 2019 after a long illness.  Tony was a lifetime resident of Akron.  He worked many odd and temp jobs as a general laborer.  Tony loved music, dancing and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by our beloved parents, Nancy and Moses Abdul Karim, Sr.; sister, Deborah King (Young); brother, Moses Karim, Jr. (Young) and Harold Wright (“WeWe”).

Tony leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Nicole Smith of Akron, OH; sisters, Vicki Karim-Cole of Akron and Nancy McFolling of Stone Mountain, GA; brothers, Darnell (Darlene) Karim of Los Angeles, CA, Sharrieff Karim of Akron, OH and Wallace (Vanessa) Karim, who were both Tony’s caregivers that he loved and appreciated; special niece, Tynetta (Priste) Carson, who was Tony’s Home Health Aid; four grandsons, Marcelous Smith, Darshawn Dowdy, Demetrius Henderson and Honor Fitzgerald, all of Akron; two great-grandchildren, Jamayha Turner and Tamair Smith of Akron, OH; brother-in-law, Phenly King (“Sug”) of Sacramento, CA; extended brother, Gregory Wimly of Akron, OH and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
