On March 24,1953, the sun rose in Cleveland, Ohio and Anthony Lee Perry was born to the union of Mack Ivory and Estee Perry. Tony was the 4th brother out of the “Famous Five”.
Anthony received his education in the Cleveland Public School System and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. At 18 years old, he joined the United States Army. While serving in the U.S. Army, Anthony received a National Defense Service medal. He also worked as a First Aid attendant. Anthony returned to Cleveland and worked for the VA as a Medical Assistant. In August of 1978, he began working for LTV Steel, now known as Cleveland Cliffs, and was there for 44 years. Anthony took pride in being a steel mill worker. He loved to dance, fish, and build old cars and loved driving fast cars. Anthony loved his family. He was proceeded in death by his beloved Wife; Theresa A. Perry, Father Make Ivory Perry, his mother, Estee Perry. Two brother’s; Michael and Mitchell. Along with his only son; Mitchell Mack Ivory Perry. Anthony’s Loving memory will be mourned and cherished by his loving daughters; Lashaun Marie Perry, Asia Lynn (Richard Tufts). Two Brothers; Gertis and Luther Thomas Perry along with grandchildren; Chrishawn Manning, Christopher Manning, Dayeja Perry, Makayla Perry, Jaylin Tufts, Brooklyn Tufts, Talia Perry, and 2 great-grandchildren also, a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
