Antoine Lamar Scott, affectionately known as “Twan,” passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Monday, November 4, 2019, at the age of 37.
Antoine was born January 12, 1982, in Akron, Ohio, the son of Donald Adams and Carolyn Scott. He was the baby of the family and his gift of life is truly recognized through the hearts of his loved ones, his cherished friendships and those he encountered. His sense of humor and playful ways brightened the lives of those around him.
Antoine attended Buchtel High School and went on to work in both automotive and construction. He was very good at working with his hands and had the uncanny ability to fix and restore anything. He loved his cars, his electronics, and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was kind and caring to every person he met and created new groups of friends everywhere he went.
Antoine was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henderson and Anna Mae Scott; uncles, Henderson Scott Jr., and Myron Scott
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Carolyn Scott (Robert); father, Donald Adams; sisters, Yolanda Scott Thomas (Kevin) and Alexis Scott (Jevance); sons, Amier and Tyshawn Coleman and Da-Marion Hubbard; nephew, Montel Thomas; aunts and uncles, James, Beverly, Sandra, and Leola; cousins, Leslie, Brian, Yolanda, and Kelly; and Shawn; his beloved Rottweiler named Mya, whom he lovingly referred to as “Mya Bear.”
Antoine will be truly missed and remembered by countless family members and devoted friends.
