Antione R. Johnson answered the call of the Lord to enter in on Tuesday, January 16, 2024
Antione R. Johnson was born January 31,1962 in Cleveland, Ohio to Johnnie Mae Johnson and Robert Smith (who preceded him death). He attended Cleveland Public Schools.
He gave his life to Jesus Christ and worshipped at Morison Avenue Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ohio. Where with his friend Carolyn Dowdell, he would help bake cakes for the church and special events. Antione’s favorite gospel singers were Kirk Franklin and Rance Allen, who sang “Something About The Name Jesus”, his favorite song. If you looked inside his truck the radio station is on 94.5 Gospel Praise. He loved music, especially the music of the sixties, seventies, and eighties.
Antione worked several jobs. He was an assembly worker at Springco Metal in Cleveland, Ohio. Antione loved his job because it gave him a chance to do something he liked. He had several friends including the cats that would come and visit him, because they knew he would feed them their favorite food.
He was extremely independent and had a big heart with a memory like a computer or elephant. Like his mother he enjoyed watching western movies. Antione’s gift was his memory. He could tell you about life, and help you learn from it because he lived it.
He was proud of his daughter and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter Antoinese, and grandchildren Antionaja, Sir’Vontaye, La’Montaye, Da’Shawn, and Ta’Niece Johnson while encouraging them to always do their best.
Antione leaves behind to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, his daughter Antoinese, and grandchildren Antionaja, Sir’Vontaye, La’Montaye, Da’Shawn, and Ta’Niece Johnson, brothers and sisters, Ludie Ann Stokes (Calvin), Arthur Calloway (Karen), Ricardo Calloway (Marjorie), Victoria Miller, Tyrone Calloway, Tina Johnson Boddy, Tylene Johnson (Timothy), John Johnson, Lamont Johnson, cousins Jeremiah Calloway, Jr. (Evelyn), Jolynn Calloway, Jorene Calloway, and a host of nieces, nephews, and family.
