Antione Donta Townsend, affectionately known as Tone Teezy, gained his wings on November 6, 2021, at the age of 38. He was born on June 15, 1983, to James and Debra Townsend in Akron, Ohio. He attended Akron Public Schools and finished with a GED. Tone loved being a father; he enjoyed spending time with his kids, as well as his family and friends. His favorite hobbies included fishing, cooking, and riding around in his hummer. One thing about Tone, when he came around he brightened up the entire room with his jokes, infectious laugh, and we can’t forget about his smile with that gold tooth.

Antione was preceded in death by his father, James T. Townsend, Jr.; brothers, Derrick Walker and James Townsend III; all his grandparents and an aunt.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Debra Townsend; sons, Cordell Cobb and Antonio Townsend; daughters, My’Taya Whatley and Davonna Musa; granddaughter, Lauryn Dior Cobb; brothers, Dominic Walker, Darren Townsend and Curly James (bro-bro); sisters, Mandy Walker, Latoka (Raymond) Townsend-Averiett; special aunt, Lisa Walker-Kelson; nieces, Shovontae, Janae, Jabree and Taylor; nephews, Derrick, lil’ Dominic, Daontae, Somonjay, Raymone and lil’ Darren; special sisters/cousins, Talisha Kelson, Natasha (Saidou) Ouedraogo and Sheneen (Silas) Landis; close cousins, Anthony Ramsey and Antoine Ramsey; long time friend, Christen (Squirt) Davidson; as well as a host of other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
