Ms. April Demetrias East was born in Mobile, Alabama on April 17, 1963 to Willie James and Dorothy East. At an early age she confessed to Christ and would visit many churches throughout her life. She received her formal education from the public schools of Cuyahoga County, graduating from Warrensville Heights High School in 1981. April was a loving mother and grandmother that enjoyed entertaining with family and friends. She was known to many as the life of the party. She found joy in helping others and giving advice. Most of her working life was spent working in various customer service roles. On May 5, 2023 the death angel appeared and took her away. As a Believer she knew that death is the golden key that unlocks the palace of Eternity.
Preceded in death by her step-father, Mr. Joe Daniels. She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents Mr. Willie James East (Eloise) and Mrs. Dorothy East-Daniels of Cleveland, Ohio, four brothers: Rodney East, Gregory East, Brian East, and Bernard Gaston of Cleveland Ohio, one step-brother: Timothy Daniels, three children: Ashley East of Crofton, Maryland, Leroy Dixon III, and Alexis East of Cleveland, Ohio, two grandchildren: Braylen Richardson and Kennedy Glanton-Dixon of Cleveland, Ohio, One great-aunt: Elsa Straughn of Pensacola, Florida, One aunt: Syrinthia Marsh (Michael) of Cleveland, Ohio and other dear relatives and friends.

Im sending condolences & sad to hear about April’s home going. I’ll always remember her sweet spirit, a real sweetheart all the time! On occasion we ran into each other, and it was always nice seeing her. I remember not long ago, the Cavs won their championship. At their parade, our party pushed thru thousand's of fans. We saw ppl waiting at a bus stop. So we decided to wait out the crowd there. Somebody left. I sat down, saw April, and we started cutting up- laughing & shootin the breeze, like ole times. Please know I’m happy to know her.
