Aquanita, a native of Akron, Ohio, brought warmth and purpose into the world on November 19, 1966, welcomed by her mother, Margie Dixon. She navigated her formative years in Akron, attending and successfully graduating from Akron Public Schools, a testament to her commitment to education.
On August 23, 1990, Aquanita entered a lifelong partnership with Troy L. Davidson, exchanging vows in Akron, Ohio. Their union was a source of strength and companionship, a foundation for the family they would build together.
Aquanita’s pursuit of knowledge was evident as she continued her education, culminating in achievements from Cuyahoga Community College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Science, and Hondros College, where she earned her LPN degree. Her commitment to learning reflected not only her personal growth but also her desire to contribute meaningfully to her community.
Professionally, Aquanita contributed her skills to the medical field, notably at the Cuyahoga County Reintegration Center in the Medical Records Department. Her dedication to her work showcased her compassion and commitment to the well-being of others.
The journey of Aquanita’s life was marked by the profound loss of her mother, Margie Dixon and stepfather, Ocie “Papa D” Dixon, whose memories undoubtedly lingered as a guiding force in her heart.
Aquanita is survived by her loving husband, Troy Davidson, and their son, Davon Hines. Her presence continues to be cherished by her siblings: brother George Hines, sister Marilyn Johnson, sister Michelle Barnett, brother Bobby Hines, sister Ociea Dixon, as well as her mother-in-law Rose Kemp and sister-in-law Shannon Davidson. The circle of those who hold Aquanita dear extends to a host of family including nieces, nephews, and cousins, close friends, and loved ones, each touched by her warmth and grace.
