Arnold Lee Collins, 86, was born on May 13, 1934, the son of Samuel Collins and Ruth Woods. He departed this life on January 6, 2020. Arnold grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and retired from Kent State University after 25 years of service in Kent, Ohio.
He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Akron. He was an usher and did everything possible to help others. He loved to visit people in hospitals to see if he could cheer them up. Arnold was married to Bessie Mae Collins and they were together for 63 years. He enjoyed taking his wife to thrift stores and yard sales. He was full of fun.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bessie Mae Collins.
He leaves to cherish his memory his friends William and Beatrice Berry of Ravenna, OH; Dr. Keith Novack and his family as well as JoAnn Krebs.
