Arthur John Jackson II

My deepest condolences. I knew Art for almost 20 years. He was quite the character. Hardworking, fun to work with and very detail oriented when it came to his work. When I was a younger just starting off in the trades I used to observe Art perform his skilled crafts. He was very talented. He was the “Jack of all trades, master of none but still better than a master of one.” I used to think he was a magician the way he was able to create something from nothing. I learned a lot from observing him and then applied it in a practical setting. I remember this one particular time, I asked him to teach me how to use a compound miter saw. He started me off on 45 degree cuts. Then the next day I made 25 frames for pictures. He was surprised how fast I put them together and told me I have natural talent. I took it to heart what he told me and till this day still try to master all my crafts. Art was a good man, and there aren’t many men of his character out here anymore. You will be deeply missed friend. Rest in peace.

I would like to send my condolences to family and friends. I knew Art for only a short time as the maintenance man, but he was a pleasant man who even swept up his mess which shows his character right there. I know he will be missed by us all as well.
