Arthur L. Savage Jr. entered eternal rest on November 14, 2025. He was born in Selma, AL on May 1st 1967, to Arthur and Julia Savage and was the eldest of five children. He confessed Christ at an early age at Second Ebenezer Baptist Church. Though his journey began in Alabama, Warrensville Heights, Ohio became the place he called home and where he built his life, surrounded by his wife and children. He was united in marriage to Traci Savage and together they raised four beautiful children: Jhede Hampton, Pierre Savage, Paris Savage, and Palace Savage.
Arthur embraced life’s simple but meaningful pleasures-spending time with friends and family, swimming, watching sports, playing cards and challenging others to a thoughtful game of chess. He adored his dogs, who were constant companions and a great source of joy. He enjoyed listening to music as a past time. His impeccable memory never failed to deliver a good story followed by a chuckle or a smile.
Arthur honorably served a decade in the Army National Guard. From his military experience he went on to build a strong career as a skilled over the road tire technician and off the road heavy equipment tire specialist for Ziegler Tires. He deeply appreciated the love and support he received from the Ziegler family throughout the years.
Arthur was preceded in death by his father(Arthur L. Savage Sr.), his son (Pierre Savage), and his wife (Traci Savage).
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother Julia Savage; his son Paris Savage; two daughters, Jhede Hampton and Palace Savage; two sisters, Queen(Darrin) Hill and Nakia (Anthony) Solomon; two brothers Tyrone Savage and Brian Savage; two nieces, Chardae (John) Willcocks and Tai Savage; three nephews, Deion Hill, Anthony Solomon Jr., and Devin Leeson; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. -Matthew 5:4
