Avunt’a LaChell Bimbo, lovingly known as April, was born on April 30, 1988, to Andrea Bimbo and Wade Holloway. She was a proud big sister to Philip Morris, a loving granddaughter to the late Dorothy “Dott” Lewis Bimbo, and a cherished auntie, niece, cousin, and friend. April shared a sustaining and abiding bond of love with her life partner, Donnell Manning, who remains a solid and constant source of love and support.

April is a wholehearted, loving, proud and dedicated mother of Devon Peyton and Legend Manning – her greatest blessings and the reason she dreamed, worked, and lived with purpose. She was surrounded by a strong and loving family, including her nephew Messiah Morris, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and additional loved ones who each held a special place in her heart.

April attended Cleveland Heights High School and later discovered her passion for business and entrepreneurship. She worked closely with organizations such as Property Sisters, attended business college, and became certified in residential lead inspection. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to uplifting others – working as a camp counselor, serving her community, and always finding ways to give back.

In 2022, April fulfilled a dream by opening her first business, Lavish Décor, where she shared her creativity and exquisite style with the world. Continuing to build her legacy, she opened a drug testing center in 2024, demonstrating her commitment to helping her community and creating a bright future for her family. April poured her passion into every role she held – always striving to grow, create, and inspire.

A proud Taurus, April embraced life with vibrancy and confidence. She loved traveling, fashion, refurbishing furniture, and expressing herself through her unique style. She brought joy everywhere she went, especially through her love for dancing and listening to her favorite artists, Gucci Mane and 2Pac. April cherished bringing people together and created countless memories through Sunday Family Funday gatherings, candle-making sessions, sip-and-paint events, and family kickball games.

Fiery, joyful, full of energy, strong-willed, honest, radiant, loving, intelligent, and truly one-of-a-kind – April was, and will always be, a light to all who knew her. She lived boldly, loved deeply, and radiated joy in a way that will continue to shine through her children, her family, and every life she touched. Her life was a gift, her presence a blessing, and her memory will be carried in our hearts forever.
