In Loving Memory of Azire Laron Wood Jr.

With hearts shattered by this unimaginable loss, we announce the sudden passing of our precious son, Azire Laron Wood Jr. on November 26, 2025. At just two months old, our little light left this world far too soon, taking with him the hopes, dreams, and endless love we had only begun to share and enjoy.

Azire Jr blessed our family with a sweetness and light we will carry forever. Azire Jr had a gentle spirit, tiny hands that loved to be held, and a presence that brought joy to everyone who met him.

Azire Jr entered our lives on September 26,2025 in the wee hours of the morning moving toward the softest sunrise-tiny fingers that wrapped around ours, wide curious eyes that reflected pure wonder. His little laugh was infectious, and his sweetest coos were starting tofill every room with joy. In his brief time with us, he taught us the deepest meaning of love: unconditional, and eternal. His gentle spirit brought our family closer than we ever thought possible, and his memory will live in every heartbeat we take.

Azire Jr. is the precious, dearly loved son of Azire Sr. and Zaria, whose love for him will endure forever. The cherished grandson of Lawrence(Chantelle) Fitzgerald, Felicia Manson (maternal) and Acea Wood Sr , Lawan Short( fraternal) and the beloved nephew of Darnell Watson Sr, Ginnique Short , Acea (Saniah) Wood Jr , Sahniya Manson , Carsen Manson, Leroy Fitzgerald, Great Grandparents Leroy (Linda) Fitzgerald ,Laron (Annette ) Sledge -Bey, Andre Wood Sr. My tiny, big cousins Darnell Watson Jr, Legacy Brown, Legend Scott, Acelynn Short, Damoni Watson, Leroy Fitzgerald V, Jayde Campbell. Special Great Aunties Latrea Fitzgerald and Reneata Brown .

Azire was surrounded by a village of love-great-grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts and so many family friends who held him close in their hearts from the moment they knew he was coming.

Though his time here was heartbreakingly short, the love he gave and received will never fade. We find comfort knowing he knew only love, and tenderness in the arms of those who loved him most. He is now cradled in the arms of Jesus in eternal peace until we meet again. Our sweet boy, you were our entire world for sixty precious days. Thank you for choosing us. Run free, little one will love you every day, forever. Rest in perfect peace, our darling Azire. Mommy and Daddy will always carry you in our hearts.
