Barbara was born to the late Ozzie and Nellie McClure April 12, 1941. She attended and graduated from The Cleveland Public Schools. While being gainfully employed with BlueCross BlueShield. She raised two daughters “Marcia and Adriane”. Barbara later married the love of her life Ben Manningham where they blended into a family of 8 children. Barbara was a very outgoing person, she loved family gatherings, cooking, playing bid whist, dancing, listening to gospel and traveling. She dedicated a lot of time caring for her great nieces and many others. Barbara received her salvation January 2, 2025. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ozzie and Nellie McClure; husband, Ben Manningham Sr., brother, Lawrence McClure; 4 Stepsons, Ben Jr., John, Albert, and Scott. Barbara leaves to cherish her memories, 2 sisters, Nettie Rawls and Vicky McClure, 2 daughters, Marcia Williams (Larry), Adriane Cotton, 1 son/nephew, Raymond Bantum, 2 stepdaughters, Vanessa Smith and Marion Manningham, 5 grandchildren, Nicoh Cotton (Brittani), Kiera Williams, Jeffrey Williams, Jasmine Cotton, and Jamal Miles. 4 great-grandchildren, Tre’Voughn Jackson, Ja’Myrrah Jackson, London Cotton, Kai’Bree Monroe. 4 nieces, Michelle Ford (Kenny), Nicole Mathis (Henry), Carrenda McClure-Dunn (Willie), and Christine McClure, and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
