Bettie is survived by her son, Demetrius Lee Atwater; mother, Carrie Martin; sibling, Bennie Martin, Jr.; grandchildren, Andre Atwater, Devonte (DJ) Atwater and Tiana Atwater; Sister-in-law, Dinah Oliver; and a host of beloved family and friends.
Bettie was preceded in death by her father, Bennie Martin Sr., and her loving husband; Vea Wilson.

To the family I Send my condolences for the loss of Bettie she will surly be missed she was a beautiful person, we worked together. I also found we had great conversations together on the phone. We laughed , danced and had good times together. We were the same birthday month one day apart. We we're in a Birthday group celebrations together. I will miss her non-judgmental ways, love you Bettie
