Raised by George and Katherine (Cain) Jones and dearly loved grandmother, Mrs. Percy Cain; Betty Ann Johnson was born March 10, 1946 in Morristown Tennessee.
Following high school graduation, Betty relocated to Akron Ohio where she retired from Bridgepark Nursing Home as a Restorative Nurses Assistant.
She was an avid Believer and enjoyed going to church. She also enjoyed going out to eat, going to the movies and shopping, but, most of all, she enjoyed being with her family.
Preceded in death by brothers, George T. (Pat) Jones, Sr., Clarence Jones, James (Phyllis) Jones; brother in-law Keith W. Johnson; sisters, Virginia (Edward) Bramlett, Ann (Frank) Kyle and Dorothy Cain.
Betty leaves behind to cherish her memory; her loving husband of fifty seven years, George C. Johnson, Sr.; children George C. Johnson, Jr. (Natausha), Anthony W. (Nicole) Johnson, Sr. and loving daughter Katherine A. Johnson; grandchildren Anthony W. Johnson, Jr., Astin L. Johnson, Sr., George C. Johnson, III (Hailey), Aaron N. Johnson; great grandchildren Astin L. Johnson, II, and Arlo Ray Johnson; sister Angela Jones – Hickman; sisters in-law, Victoria (Stewart) Winston, Tondaleyo Moore, Mary Meeks, Mona (Greg) Littlejohn, Melani Johnson (Arthur); best friend June Underwood and a host of nieces and nephews, along with a host of family and friends.
