Betty Frances Pilot Winn, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 27, 2020. She was born to the late Clarence and Hazel  Pilot on September 10, 1927, in Akron, Ohio.

A life long resident of Akron, Betty attended and graduated from West High School. She worked for the City of Akron as a Crossing Guard for Akron Public Schools and as a Ticket Agent for the Reservoir Park.  In addition to working for the City of Akron, Betty dedicated much of her time caring for many of her grandchildren.

Betty married Willie Ben Winn, Jr. in 1952 and celebrated 59 years in marriage prior to his passing.

She was a faithful member of Arlington Church of God, where she served as a greeter and in the nursery. Her love for her church was known by all who knew her.

Betty was preceded in death by a sibling, Richard Raymond Pilot and great-grandchildren, Jordan Andrews and Kassidy Franklin.

She was a proud mother and leaves behind five children to cherish her memory: Adrian (Robert) Franklin, Leah Winn, Colin (Sheree) Winn, Marsha Winn, Allison Winn of Georgia; sister, Doris (late Howard) Peak; followed by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
