Betty J. Finley, who was Baptist, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 22, 2020. She was born on February 27, 1942, in Alabama, and she was raised in Akron, Ohio by the late Lula and Ephriam Bryant. She attended Central Hower High School. Betty had 5 children, Renee, Benny, Lisa, Latonya, and Ephriam. She married Kenny Finley in 1984 and enjoyed 33 years of love and memories. Cooking and solving crossword puzzles were her hobbies, she also enjoyed spending time with her family.
Granny Poo, as she was affectionately called was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Finley; son, Benny Bryant; brothers, Davis and Danny Jones.
She is survived by her children, Renee Somler, Ephriam Wise, Tonya (Shawn) Jefferies and Lisa (Kevin) Mullins; sisters. Brenda (Herbert) Watson, Ann (Lloyd) Sweeney; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
