The Lord has called our beloved Mother home. Mrs. Betty Jane Williams was born November 13, 1937, in Richmond Kentucky, to the late Walker and Amy Noland. Betty was a long-time resident of Akron Ohio. She was employed by the Summit County Department of Human Services as a Case Worker; and she retired with 23 plus years of service. She was also employed many years as a transitional employee, with the United States Post Office. Betty was known for her since of humor. You could not be around her for any period of time, before she said something that would bring tremendous laughter.
Betty was dubbed “Super Mom”. She would often work two jobs to ensure her family was well taken care of. Her children frequently stated, “If we were poor, we did not know it”. She made countless sacrifices, and had such great love, care, and concern for her family. She was extremely passionate regarding her family’s well-being. She was such an awesome, mother of five children, including a set of Triplets. She was also the grandmother of Triplets.
She was proceeded in death by her Late husband Ralph Williams, father Walker Noland, and mother Mrs. Amy Waire, sister Mary Collins, and brother Leon Noland. She leaves to cherish her memory sons Paul Williams (Phylliss), Michael Williams, and Donny Williams, daughters Deborah (Christ) Moorer, and Denise Williams. 13 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, also special cousin, Gary Noland, Richmond, KY, and a host of relatives, family, and friends.
The Family would like to express their appreciation, for any and all contributions made toward their Special Angel, known as Mom. The Family also wishes to express their gratitude to the following, for their phenomenal care: Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Akron General Homecare Team, and Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospice Team.
Graveside service only, will be held at Mt Peace Cemetery, 183 Aqueduct St, Akron, OH 44303, Friday, March 15, 2024 @ 12:00 pm. Please send all Condolences to 3282 Copley Rd, Copley OH 44321.
