To the family of Bishop "Doc" Borden: We are praying that God will comfort and strengthen you. Bishop was the "people's" bishop. He loved everyone and treated us like we were royalty. Bishop was an encourager, and also had a good sense of humor. He will be missed and I know his legacy will live through you.

To the family of Bishop M.D. Borden: I met Bishop Borden a mighty man of God, everytime I saw him he had that same tender smile on his face, he will be truly missed by all those who came in contact with him. Let the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7) R.I.P Bishop

So sorry for your loss. I knew Bishop ever since I was a little girl, when he was our District Elder at Union Pentecostal Church in Painesville, O, under Rev. J. R. Mathews. May he rest from his labor to reward and may God strengthen you in this your hour of need.

My sympathy goes out to your family and friends at this time. May you find comfort in the scriptural promises at Isaiah 25:8, 9 and Acts 24:15; promises made by a God that cannot lie. Rely on God for comfort in the days ahead and may the love of family and friends carry you through your grief.
