Blake Hamilton Story was born on September 6th, 1990, to Christine and Carlton Story. He graduated from Garrett Morgan High school. He was called by the Lord February 15th, 2024, at the age of 33.

Blake had a passion for animals and dreamed to become a veterinarian. Blake loved to read especially manga and would frequently visit his local library to use the computers and check out audio books and DVDs. Blake was a devoted uncle. If you wanted to see his face light up have him hold his niece or nephews. He truly loved spending time with them. Blake liked to play video and board games with friends. Eventually gaining the nickname “The Mad Hatter” amongst friends. Blake was a loving son who would help his father with maintenance projects and chores. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all that knew him.

Blake is survived by his Father; his brother’s Carlton (Van) Story Jr, Alexander Story his grandmother Barabra Story; his nephews Alexander Story Jr., Jordan Story, Augustus Story and his Niece Katalaya Story. He is Proceed by his mother Christine Story; Grandmother Sarah Burton; and Grandfather Robert Burton.

Growing up with the Story family was such a blessing. They weren't just friends or neighbors, they were family! I have so many fond memories of Van, Zander, and Blake that I will cherish forever. Blake was one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever known. It breaks my heart that his life was cut so short, but in my heart I believe that he is at peace and finally reunited with his loving mother. Growing up with Blake and his brothers was a cherished part of my childhood. I always felt like they were my brothers too. I cannot express in words how saddened I am to hear of Blake’s untimely passing or how broken it makes me feel that Van and Zander will have to endure a life without their little brother.
