Brian Harvey Lucas, 44, of 4535 Shoupmill Dr., Gahanna Ohio, passed away on May 27, 2018, peacefully in his sleep.

Brian was born in Akron, Ohio on August 15, 1973. He graduated from John R. Buchtel High School. Brian worked various jobs throughout his adult life and enjoyed, watching football and basketball on TV, listening to music and spending time with his family and friends.

Brian is survived by his brother Darren Lucas of Akron, Ohio; sisters Misty (Christopher) Waller of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tricia Lucas of Akron, Ohio, and special friend Andrea Laurkishe Smith of Gahanna, Ohio. Brian was a loving father of his three children, Azonte Christian (Lois Christian), Nandi Sweetness Christian (Lois Christian), and Bria Sweet Lucas (Tracy) all of Akron, Ohio; Brian leaves to mourn a host of loving family members, aunts, and uncles; nieces and nephews; cousins and friends.

Brian is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey M. Lucas, Dorothy L. (Lewis) Lucas of Akron, Ohio, and special cousin Charles (Jay) Shoates IV of Akron, Ohio.

Memorial donations may be given to Macedonia Baptist Church, 940 McKinley Ave, Akron, OH. 44306. The family of Brian Lucas wishes to thank everyone for their love and contributions.
