Briddock Williams Jr.’s life, which began on October 2, 1957, was filled with passion, companionship, and a zest for life. Briddock’s dedication and commitment were evident in his career with the Regional Transit Authority, where he spent valuable years before retirement.
Outside of work, he found joy in various hobbies. He had a knack for buying cars, refurbishing
them, and then finding new homes for these vehicles. Fishing brought him solace, and indulging in the pleasure of eating crab legs was one of his simple joys. His love for fashion allowed him to express himself, and he had an eye for style.
Though he was never married, his love and devotion extended to his daughter, Danielle Gary. Briddock was a cherished father, grandfather to Damion Gary and Donte Lantzer, and great-grandfather to Reign Maple-Lee Gary and Kai Jordan Gary. He was surrounded by a large and loving family, including sisters, Rebecca Bullock, Christine Thomas, Brenda Thomas, Robin Saka,
Mary Mosby, and Linda Williams, along with brothers, Duane Williams, John Williams, and Andrew Williams. Additionally, Briddock had special friends – Linda and Dale Roginski, Rachel and Bridget King, and Alice and Bobby Scott – who provided unwavering support, assisting him with daily tasks, finances, and health matters, Briddock’s circle of love expanded to include numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom were touched by his warm and caring nature.
