To Bruce's family, it's been Walter's, and My pleasure knowing, and celebrating a wonderful portion of life with Bruce, thanking him for his vibrant joking, spirit. The fish fries, cocktails, card games, and most of all his love. Rest Peacefully in God's Everlasting Arms Dear Brother. Humbly, and Lovingly Submitted, Walter & Susan Evans???
My First cousin Bruce Carter will never be forgotten. His quick humor and love for life was always present. He always did his part to stay in touch with me and to make sure I was okay. Childhood, college days and even my move to Texas did not stop his flow of love and communication. Yes, he could talk and had a great deal of knowledge in many areas but he always wanted you to know that he loved you. Over the last few years the love he had for his family especially for his siblings, children and those wonderful grandchildren were the highlight of our conversations and seem to help him get through those difficult times. Bruce I will miss you and will never forget you. Edward, Dael, Georgenette , Michael, Michelle and Megan your brother/father loved you. Hold tight to his memory and don’t forget those words of advice that he so willingly offered. Rest in peace my cousin, I love you.
Roman 14:8-9 NASB
8 For if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die we are the Lord’s. 9 For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and the living.

Bruce was my friend and mate for some years. He had a heart of gold, a very giving person. Bruce like to travel, smoke cigars, listening to jazz music and was a sharp dresser. He was fun to be around. He lived with me while he battled his fight with cancer. Yes he was scared but still a fighter. The Lord has now taken you under his wing to a better place, may you Rest In Peace my friend ?? Love Judy
