Bruce E. Carter, age 64, went home to be with the Lord on June 26, 2021. Bruce is survived by his children, Michael, Michelle, and Megan; siblings, Edward(Denise)Carter, Dael Carter, and Georgenette(Glenn)Carter-Peoples; grandchildren, Mikeyaira, Michael, Dinero, Nevaeh, and (Dog Bella). Bruce is the son of the late, Mary C. Carter and Frank Jackson.

My First cousin Bruce Carter will never be forgotten. His quick humor and love for life was always present. He always did his part to stay in touch with me and to make sure I was okay. Childhood, college days and even my move to Texas did not stop his flow of love and communication. Yes, he could talk and had a great deal of knowledge in many areas but he always wanted you to know that he loved you. Over the last few years the love he had for his family especially for his siblings, children and those wonderful grandchildren were the highlight of our conversations and seem to help him get through those difficult times. He was fun to be around. He lived with me while he battled his fight with cancer. Yes he was scared but still a fighter.
