Bruce Eric Washington was born on November 17, 1982, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Teresa Alexander and the late Bruce Russell.

Bruce graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 2000 and was a devoted Christian who regularly attended church and became a devoted member of The Word Church for 18 years. His career began in the banking industry, where he held multiple positions before excelling as a Key Bank Branch Manager. In 2013, Bruce embraced his entrepreneurial spirit and became a daycare director, a role he approached with dedication and passion. Outside of his day as a director he was also “Bee the Bail-bonds Man.”

Bruce married the love of his life, Keisha, and together they built a beautiful family with four children: Briana, Mark, Lyshae, and Joann. He was a loving and devoted father who cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed taking his daughter on special dates, traveling with his beloved wife, and being an active presence in the lives of his family and friends.

A man of many passions, Bruce had a deep love for riding his motorcycle, spending time at motorcycle clubs with his friends or “shakers and movers” as he called them. He also appreciated “old school” cars. His fierce love for his wife and protective nature were evident to all who knew him.

Bruce leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Keisha; his children, Briana, Mark, Lyshae, and Joann; his grandchildren; his mother, Teresa Alexander and bonus “Pops” Scott Alexander; his grandmother, Diane Vaden; his brother, Brian Russell; his in-laws, whom he held close to his heart; his aunt, Jakki Washington; his nephew, Ethan; and a host of cousins, friends, and other loved ones.

Bruce will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
