Byron Joel Fisher was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Hedy Hardiman (preceded in death) and Carl Fisher (preceded in death). Byron passed away on December 26,2023 in the Emergency room of UH Willoughby due to health issues. He was the second of five children. Byron attended Cleveland public school and after graduating from East High School, he joined the army. After his military duties including the Vietnam War were over, he found employment as a assembly lineman for general motors. Byron remained there until his retirement after thirty years.
Byron was a widower and his wife’s name was Germaine Gill (preceded in death)
There were no children, but Byron was a doting uncle to his nieces and nephew.
He was proud of his family, and he enjoyed giving them money, gifts, and affection. He was affectionately referred to as “Uncle Joe”.
Byron was a gentle soul and would help anyone in need. He was like that with many, many people. Byron will surely be missed he leaves to mourn two sisters, Edythe and Marilyn one brother John and another brother (Jeff preceded in death) and a host of family and friends. He was one of a kind and he wore that title. Rest easy, your journey has just begun we love you humbly submitted your family.
