Camille Evette Felton-Clark burst onto the scene on, October 19, 1958. She was born the second child of Robert O’Neil Felton Sr. and Jean Stella Nichols-Felton in Akron, Ohio. She lived a loving and vibrant life until her light was suddenly extinguished on March 20, 2018.
Camille was a lifelong resident of Akron attending St. Mary’s school and eventually Archbishop Hoban High School where she was awarded the Senior Dow award in her freshman year for music. Besides her musical accolades, Camille also received trophies for her accomplishments in cheerleading, band, track and field.
Camille eventually began working as a mental health aid specialist through Case Western Reserve and Edwin Shaw. There she met a friend that happened to be born on the same day same year as she named Leonard Clark. From that friendship, they had a brief marriage that produced two beautiful daughters. Camille continued to work in the mental health field until her retirement in 1998.
Camille was one of the sweetest, kindest, funniest, down to earth people you could have ever met. Regardless of how much she had, she offered her space, food, time, and whatever else necessary to help those who asked. She was always content in her domain. You always knew you could stop by because Camille was at home.
