Carey Corrington-Ximines was born February 1, 1979, at Kingston Jubilee Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica to Earlesta Williams and Errol Ximines Sr. Ms. Williams remembers Carey as a happy and adventurous baby. As a young man, Carey took on the responsibility of caring for his grandfather whom he loved very much. He was a devoted son and brother, always someone his family could depend on. Carey graduated from Glengolf High school in 1997.
Carey had many skills and talents. He was an outstanding Crickett and Football (soccer) player. Corey loved to get dressed up and socialize with family and friends. He was the life of the party and always had a smile and warm embrace for anyone he came in contact with.
Carey was very creative and loved to build things. As a child, he would build furniture for his family. Those skills carried over to his newest project which was the rehab of his home. Together with his assistant, his son Xavier, Carey was able to skillfully rehab his own home.
On March 16th. 2015, Carey welcomed his son Xavier Ximines. Xavier was the apple of his eye and best friend. They did everything together. Carey spent every moment he could with Xavier, teaching him how to be a humble, smart, and compassionate person. Together they enjoyed playing games, watching movies, many trips to the toy store, and pizza parties. Xavier always told Carey he was the best dad in the world, truly he was.
Carey loved to cook and entertain with family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling, swimming, and had a beautiful singing voice.
Carey leaves to cherish his memory: his mother Earlesta Williams, father Errol Ximines Sr., son Xavier Ximines, sisters: Shantel, Delrose, Judith, Sasha, Sherene, Sharee, Taysha, and Ashley, brothers: Fidel and Errol Jr., aunts: Naomi Williams, Murlyn, Gloria, Mazie, Uncle Errol Williams. As well as a host of extended family and friends.
Job well done Carey!
