Carl Williams Sr was born in Bessermer, Alabama January 11, 1947, to Charlie Williams and Mary Helen Cooks.

He left the south and moved to Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from John High School. He enlisted in the Army after graduation in 1964.He retired from Postal Service in 2007. Carl was a member of love Divine missionary Baptist Church.

He was a Jack of all trades, a soul dancer, loving husband, a gentleman, a good father, and amazing storyteller.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 14 years, Jenny Williams, his daughters, Dakota Lloyd, Carla, Chezaley, two sons, Carl Williams Jr (deceased) and Carlton Williams (deceased), children from the previous marriage of Charlina Williams (deceased), step children, Andrea McDowell (deceased), Eugenia McDowell, Angelina Fletcher, Nicole Winfield, sisters Ethel Goodwin, Mary Williams, Mayo Williams, Caroline Williams, Ernestine Williams Patton, Christine Williams, Kathy Williams, brother Larry, as well as Grandchildren, aunts, cousins and host of friends. He will be missed by many.
