Carla Devon “Poochie” Langston, age 50, of Akron, departed the earth on Saturday, August 29, 2020.

Carla was born December 20, 1969, to Jeanette and James Langston. She was full of life, love and laughter. She  enjoyed cooking, singing, music and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.  She worked at The Arbor’s of Fairlawn, OH for many years where she enjoyed taking care of the elderly and disabled.  Carla was affectionately known as “Auntie Poochie” by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Langston; her  grandparents; nephew, Durrell McCarty and lifelong companion, Dario Knotts.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Jeanette Langston; sister, Angela Langston; brother, Theodore Moore, Sr.; aunts, Mary Langston, Margaret Powers, Gloria Langston, Elizabeth (Eugene) Hatcher and Pat Langston; uncle, Wray (Gloria) Langston; nieces, Jada Langston and Phaina Pannell;  nephew, Theodore Moore, Jr.; great-nieces, Dream McCarty, Preshas McCarty, and Lyric McCarty; great-nephews, Kingston McCarty and Taaj Clifford; special daughter, Zarria Knotts; special nephew, Brett Wilson; best friends, Darlene, Sabrina and Brenda and best friend/cousin, LaToya Barnett.
