Carolyn Fae Daniles was born to the Union of Red and Callie Mae Daniles on August 16, 1947, in Waco, Texas. The family moved to Cleveland, Ohio. At an early age, she went to Patrick Henry High School and later to John F. Kennedy High School, where she was a proud member of the First Lady’s Marching team, and was among the first graduating classes. She attended Central State University following graduation.
Carolyn married Thomas Lee Wright Jr., to which Thomas Lee Wright III and Eboni Shondria Wright were born.
She worked at the Navy Finance Center in downtown Cleveland, Ohio for 15 years. Then, she worked for Forest City Enterprises, where she retired from.
Carolyn accepted Christ our Savior later in life, but was a faithful and devoted member of Warner Church until it closed. Then, she went on to be a faithful and devoted member of Celebration United Methodist Church until her passing.
Carolyn loved life; she enjoyed doing a variety of things like dancing and singing. She would never stay still, always on the go. She also had her own modeling business, and volunteered for the Cleveland public school as a Teacher’s Assistant helping children. She was a member of the Celebration Choir and also a member of the CNCNW (National Council of Negro Women).
Carolyn Fae Wright departed this earthly world on February 22, 2025. She leaves behind to mourn her son, Thomas Lee (Jenifer) Wright III, her daughter Eboni S. (Darnell) Jordan; eight grandchildren, DeAngelo Williams, Charnay James, Carolyn Wright, Arron Black, Darnell Jordan, Tia Wright, Janae Jacobs, Jaselene Jacobs and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, family and close friends. She will truly be missed but not forgotten, always in our hearts.
The family would also like to give a special thanks to our Auntie Carol Wright, Janet (Eason) Harris, and Audrey Miller.
