Carolyn Triggs came into this life on February 9, 1944, in East St. Louis, Illinois. The only child of Jessie Patrick and John Watson.
She received her education in East St. Louis school system. As a young woman, she was employed at Famous and Barr department store in St. Louis, Missouri.
Carolyn relocated to Cleveland, Ohio in the early sixties. It was here, she met and married Donovan Triggs, and they were inseparable until her demise. They were avid bowlers, card players, and lovers of fishing.
Carol was employed by Hough Bakery for several years until the plant closed. She then became a secretary in the Euclid City School System until she retired. Carol and Don continued to enjoy their many activities until her health began to fail.
On Saturday August 6, 2022, Carol closed her eyes in eternal sleep.
She was preceded in death by her parents and the beloved and constant companion Lucy.
Carol leaves to celebrate her life: her beloved husband Donovan; three children Shelia Salters (Greg) of Detroit, Michigan, Donovan Triggs Jr. (Chawnte’) of Euclid, Ohio, Christopher Triggs (Tanisha) of Maple Heights, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, one great-grandson; sister-in-law Vivan Barnes; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; beloved special son Darrel Robinson; and long time friend, Jennifer Beauty.
