Carrie M. Robinson-Brown was born in Coy, Alabama to the union of the late Deacon Ernest Robinson and the late Deaconess Annie Dumas-Robinson on February 25, 1940.
Carrie accepted Christ at an early age at Little Zion #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Coy, Alabama. After completing high school Carrie later moved to Cleveland, OH where she married the late Isaiah Brown.

She then joined Victory Baptist Church, under the direction of Pastor Tate. And later years, Hang On In There Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Charles Hill.
Carrie loved family gatherings and was a sharp dresser. She loved to tell jokes and dance. She had no problems with words when it came to setting you straight where you had no choice but to laugh. But on the other hand, she will flip earth upside down when it came to family.
