Carter Wyatt, Sr. was born on June 25, 1951 in Akron, Ohio to Eddie and Lena Wyatt. He was one of 12 children born to this union, with a twin brother.
He grew up in the north and west side of Akron, where he attended Thornton Middle School and South High School. While in high school, he met and married Jerline Vickers. To this union were born two sons, Carter Jr. and Matt.
Carter was employed at Morris Control as a Machinist for 10 – 15 years until an on-the-job accident caused him to retire early.
He loved walking in the woods and fishing with his wife. He also enjoyed going to the movies with the family.
Carter was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jerline Wyatt; sons, Carter (Lorraine) Wyatt, Jr. and Matt (Tiffany) Wyatt; 2 grandsons, Matt and Marlen Walker; and 1 granddaughter, Ziara Wyatt; special nephew, James Wyatt; best friends, Rudy and Clenzo; a host of Wyatt, Vickers and Davenport Family members and friends.
