Ca’Shon Ar’Monte Roberts, affectionately known as “Butt Butt” by his family and friends, passed away on September 8, 2025, in Cleveland, Ohio, at the tender age of 15.
Born on April 30, 2010, to CaShondra Roberts, Ca’Shon was the beloved “baby of the boys” with those big bright eyes and a spirit that was wise beyond his years. A student at Cleveland Heights High School, he was beginning 10th grade and had already touched many hearts with his kindness, talent, and insight.
Fearless, witty and determined,
Ca’Shon approached life with a bold heart, a sharp mind, and a quick smile. He had a brilliant sense of humor that could brighten any room, and his conversations often revealed a depth of thought far beyond his age. But if he didn’t deal with you, he was a stone wall and no matter how hard you tried he wouldn’t give you any conversation whatsoever. Ca’Shon was truly an intriguing young man—curious, thoughtful, and wise. Most of all, Ca’Shon remained true to himself—authentic in every way, never afraid to be exactly who he was.
He had a love for football, basketball, and video games, but it was music that truly stirred his soul. A gifted writer with beautiful penmanship, he poured his heart into every lyric and line, creating music that reflected his experiences, emotions, and dreams. His words were a reflection of his soul—deep, expressive, and moving.
He was preceded in death by his loving and caring Aunt/Mother, Katrenda Roberts, whose memory he carried with him every day.
Ca’Shon is survived by his devoted mother, CaShondra Roberts; his loving grandmother, Patricia Roberts; and his cherished brothers, Hassan Furnace Jr. and Jared Roberts. He also leaves behind his Loving Auntie Patrice Harris, his cousins who were really his brothers—Malikk Abrams, Jamal Abrams, Marquis Abrams, and JaSean Harris—and his beloved baby cousins Karter Abrams, Aaliyah Abrams, and Cyxx Ellis. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
Ca’Shon’s life was cut far too short, but the love he gave and the light he shared will never fade. He is deeply missed and will be forever loved. His legacy lives on in every laugh, every lyric, and every heart he touched.
