Cassandra Davis passed away January 19, 2020.
Cassandra “Cassie” Davis, 59, was born on August 25,1960 in Akron, Ohio, to the late Betty Jean Patterson Davis of Akron, Ohio and Forrest Smith Davis from Macon, Georgia.
She was a high school graduate, with some college education. She was a proud member of Living for Christ Ministries, and was a “jack of all trades.” She enjoyed helping others and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She participated in Keeping Akron Beautiful & taking Auntie’s Children to the zoo.
She loved Martin Luther King Day, preparing a big dinner and watching black history movies. She took pride in spending time with her daughters, sisters, other family members and friends.
Cassandra was preceded in death by her late parents, Betty Jean Patterson & Forrest Davis Smith; sister, Angela Davis and great grandson, Jiavonni Davis, all from Akron, Ohio.
She is survived by two daughters, Delicia Davis and April Davis of Akron, Ohio; son, Victor (Jasmine) Davis of Akron, Ohio; god-daughter, Jaziah Darden; god-son, Raymond Martin (Fresh); grandchildren, Destiny, Jimmelle, Aeriona, DeMaurea, Diaja, LaQuan, Diamonte, Jaziah, and Jaymeonte, all of Akron, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Josiah, Jermylin, Jimmelle Jr., Ray Melle, Karmelle, Vernaajah, Kamiya, Manayshia, Aaron, and LaQuan Jr.; sisters, Belinda (James) Griggs, Denise Davis, Evelyn Davis and Gloria Lee, all of Akron, Ohio; male Companion, Bobby Hatcher; special friends, Butchie, Ms. Kita, Ms.Wanda, Ms.Evonne, Mrs. Adrianne, Mrs. Lizz, Mrs. Cynthia, Lakreisha & Marie, Ms. Carla, Latroy Hubbard (Pumpkin) and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
