Cheryl Alecia Hunt, daughter of the late McKinley and Ruby Hunt, was born on June 22, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio.
She received Christ in her life at an early age. Cheryl’s early education began in the elementary schools in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from John Adams high school in 1964 and continued to Cuyahoga Community College for two years then transferred to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she received a bachelor’s degree in education with a minor degree in Spanish. After teaching for a few years, she attended Cleveland State University where she earned a Master’s degree.
She was employed by the Cleveland Board of Education for over 30 years. Cheryl had a profound love for music, sewing, crocheting, reading, attending live plays, and experimenting with new recipes.
Cheryl made her transition on December 5, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, McKinley and Ruby Hunt.
Left to cherish her memory and reflect on many happy memories are loving aunts; Evelyn Tucker, Arvie Hunt, and Dixie Hunt. Uncle; Raymond Burton, a dear friend; Janis Williams, Connie Beavers, and many cousins and friends.
