I am so heartbroken .I was trying to find my friend to see how was doing only for his obituary to pop up. This man was such a beautiful and fun loving person. Life is precious and I’m feeling truly blessed to have shared so many laughs with Chris . My sincerest condolences to the entire family.

My sincerest condolences. I never met Chris, but I had the the pleasure of working with his daughter Brittany. What I do know of Chris is that he raised an amazing, intelligent and hard working daughter. She is an amazing mom, wife, Marine, and friend. I want to thank him for raising her the phenomenal way that he did. God bless everyone always!

I can truly say Chris was a very nice guy He used to pick me up the evenings we had night school down at John Hay . Never would he accept my gas money for the rides. Such a wonderful spirit he had. So sorry family for your loss. Praying for the family

Hi Kirsten I just want to say thank you… watching you reminds me of the book of martyrs when the person was asked to raise his hand if the fire was bearable and the brother not only raised his hands but clapped them! The enemy sometimes would like to make me nervous and think what would I do if one of my children died ….it would be so horrible, and it would be but watching you You have showed me that God’s grace would be sufficient!! My heart hurts along with the rest of the family. When I was just a boy (11-12 years old). Chris embraced me as a little brother (in- law) and also helped build my self esteem where I didn’t have it. The Grooms family has been a blessing to me in so many ways, and Mom Grooms and Yolanda, I am here if ever you need me. I love you brother and family.
