Christine Delores Richardson, affectionately known by family and friends as ‘Chris’ was one of fifteen children. Christine Delores Richardson, affectionately known by family and friends as ‘Chris’ was one of fifteen children. She was born on January 2, 1956, in Kendal, Florida to the union of the late Grant and Annie Richardson.
Chris attended Naranja Elementary School and graduated from South Dade High School. After graduation, she moved from Florida and relocated to Akron, Ohio, where he found employment with Chrysler. After many years of dedicated service, she retired from Chrysler.
While living and working in Akron, Chris met Marvin Dyer and they became inseparable friends. Their union produced one daughter, Marvel Richardson, who was the joy of Chris’ life.
When Chris wasn’t working, she enjoyed watching her favorite soap opera, The Young and The Restless. She also enjoyed watching movies, playing softball, dancing and laughing with her family and friends. Her thoughtfulness and beautiful smile will be forever missed.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memory her beautiful daughter, Marvel Richardson; her life partner, Marvin Dyer; four sisters, Joyce (Harold) Green of Sumter, South Carolina; Missionary Diane Richardson of Miami, Florida, Minister Patty (Clarence) Williams of Miami, Florida, and Elnora Melton of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother, Grant (Willie Jean) Richardson, Jr. of Miami, Florida; special cousin, Eleanor Duhart-Griggs, whom she loved as a sister and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
